Field Trips

To join a field trip, click on the date and location that work best for you. All field trips need to be listed on the website to count towards certification.

As a reminder, you need to complete 2 field trips in order to become a certified NYC Compost Project Master Composter. Note that we recommend visiting compost sites of various scales (small, mid, and large— as noted in the description) to deepen your understanding of how these sites operate.
