East Harlem Street Tree Care - Manhattan

  • Pleasant Village Community Garden 342 Pleasant Avenue New York, NY, 10035 United States (map)

Street trees provide us with shade, cooler temperatures, and many more benefits in the summer! Help us return the love by giving the care needed for our trees to thrive. We will weed, mulch, water, and apply NYC-made compost to street tree beds in East Harlem.

Accessibility notes: Bathrooms accessible at Pleasant Village Community Garden. Less labor-intensive volunteer tasks such as outreach flyering will be included at this event.

Event led by NYC Compost Project hosted by the LES Ecology Center in collaboration with Pleasant Village Community Garden
