Join the NYC Compost Project Hosted by Big Reuse Compost team bag finished 1lb compost bags for the curbside outreach team in preparation for upcoming compost giveback events.

Volunteers should wear close toed shoes, clothes they don't mind getting dirty, and dress for the weather. Bring a water bottle (refills available). Event is rain or shine but you will be notified by email if there is a cancellation.

Take the F train to 21st Street - Queensbridge. Exit the train and walk South on 21st street, under the highway, to Queens Plaza South. Take a right, and walk West 4 blocks to Vernon Ave. The entrance to the composting area is at the corner of Queens Plaza South and Vernon Ave., directly under the bridge and across from the Ravel hotel.
