Join LES Ecology Center, El Garden, and Clean Bushwick Initiative for a Street Tree Care in Bushwick, Brooklyn! Participants will learn about urban tree bed stewardship, including best practices. We will then remove litter, aerate soil, and apply finished compost to tree beds nearby.

This is the second of two "shifts", the first is from 10am-noon and has a unique Master Composter Eventbrite registration (link here).

Rain date : Saturday, June 17th, same time.

This event requires standing, bending, kneeling, walking for up to 5 minutes, use of hand tools, and may require lifting up to 50lbs. Please contact Jimmie at LES Ecology Center with accessibility concerns.
