Join DSNY and Friends of Hillside Dog Park for a morning of street tree care around the park. Tools and gloves will be provided! Learn about the importance of street trees, and how NYC food scraps and yard waste are recycled into finished compost.

Volunteers will remove litter and pull weeds from the tree beds, rake the area, and then apply a layer of compost.
