Pleasant Village Community Garden's compost site is getting a makeover! The site will be reworked into another part of the garden to make way for future construction. This includes two HotBoxing systems, wood chip storage, and collection bins. Master Composter trainees will learn about the site redesign process from site managers and the construction of a HotBox by co-creator, Nando Rodriguez. Please note that heavy lifting and movement will be involved. RAIN DATE: Sunday, October 16 2-4pm

Event led by NYC Compost Project hosted by the LES Ecology Center in partnership with Pleasant Village Community Garden.

No mask or vaccination requirement. The entire work-day will be outdoors.
