Volunteers will help distribute compost, assist shoppers by bringing plants to their cars, and explaining how to use compost to shoppers. The event will be very physical and will require volunteers to lift 40lb. bags of compost and do a lot of walking.

Event led by NYC Compost Project Hosted by Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.
