Field Trip - Queens

Come on a fun tour of The NYC Compost Project Hosted by Big Reuse's Queensbridge Compost Site! You will learn about how compost is made in NYC and get to learn about our compost system. Come get all your compost related questions answered!

Please dress comfortably and wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.

There is no public parking at the work site. Please find street parking in the area.

Take the F train to 21st Street - Queensbridge. Exit the train and walk South on 21st street, under the highway, to Queens Plaza South. Take a right, and walk West 4 blocks to Vernon Ave. The entrance to the composting area is at the corner of Queens Plaza South and Vernon Ave., directly under the bridge and across from the Ravel hotel.

Masks optional.
