Gain a unique hands-on experience working with Frank White Memorial Garden's HotBox Composting systems at a community-scale site. Trainees will work with site managers and youth leaders to process their food scraps and maintain their systems. Please note that a field trip will be held between 1-2pm where you'll learn more about the site's history and the system that's been operating for 30 years!

Event led by NYC Compost Project hosted by the LES Ecology Center in partnership with The Brotherhood Sister Sol and Open Road of NY.

Participants must sign in (if going into the building) and wear a mask when indoors.
